I interviewed Cal Cole because not only is he a Manchester artist, but also because his work is so closesly related to the city itself, it being the subject of the majority of his online portfolio. His deep colour palette and control over lighting and mood in his photos portray the underlying nature of the city in a way sparsely replicated by his contemporaries. As a young Mancunian artist with a not-insubstantial following.

I interviewed Al Shep because his work is incredibly unique and personal to Manchester itself. It represents a reminiscence of the past, and a certain nostalgic element that we've lost as years have passed in the city, but also an acknowledgment of the developments and issues we face presently, namely, a remaining mental health stigma.

The street interviews were initially conducted to gague a common consciousness between people in Manchester; however, they eventually revealed a larger divide in opinions than initially anticipated.

The editing of the video and composition of locations, (where applicable) was decided to not only separate the visual palette of the city, but also to convey the diverse range of colours and environments, especially during the recent urban developmental period.
